I’ve always been a fan of the work created by Rankin/Bass. In fact, I distinctly remember sitting in my living room in University Heights, Ohio and watching the behind the scenes extras for the newly released DVD version of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer sometime in the late 90′s. When I heard Arthur Rankin mention that the inception of his idea for the animated special began with a conversation with his neighbor who wrote the original song “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer,” I realized the importance of proximity to like minded artist and decided I should fix my sights on moving to L.A.
